Enabling Firefox View

Optional Hardening says that Firefox View can no longer be disabled. Which doesn't make any sense, because Betterfox is disabling it. How can I re-enable it?

Betterfox is disabling it.

Betterfox hasn't disabled Sync or View by default since mid-2023 (the latter now being impossible with a user.js). See #196.

Did you read the next sentence in Optional Hardening?

As of Firefox 127 (June 2024), users are no longer able to disable Firefox View. To remove the icon from the tab bar, see How do I remove Firefox View from the tabs bar?.

In other words: You can disable the sync feature (Firefox accounts), but not View. However, you can manually remove the Firefox View icon from the browser UI.
