Random text snippets get appended to the sentence handlebar

Description
Using ASBPlayer, when I mine a word with the yomitan card automation, I get the beginning of the subtitles appended to the sentence.

Example:

Yomitan takes that cloze and dumps it into the sentence field, which uses the sentence handlebar as:

The part after the main cloze, which is added as expected is the beginning of the subtitles, the first 5 parts of it to be exact:

Though the number of snippets appended seems to be kind of random, consistent within one subtitle file, but inconsistent between different subtitles.

I don't get this issue with Mokuro Reader on Firefox. I can't test ASBPlayer with firefox as I don't have any video files that can be played on it.

The sentence field thankfully gets cleaned up by ASBPlayer itself when using the update last edited card feature, which shows me that ASBPlayer correctly parses the text, hence I suspect Yomitan to be at fault (that or/and my own stupidity).

In addition to this, sometimes the time from ASBPlayer is appended prior to the subtitle text. So the input would now be:

I have noticed and reported a very similar bug in Mokuro Reader, where the text that displayed the zoom level would get added as a prefix to the Sentence handlebar.

While obviously, if the ASBPlayer developer would remove the timer (kind of an important feature of a video player), this part of the bug would most likely get fixed, it is still concerning to see Yomitan add superfluous data to a handlebar. It's weird for it to show up in many different areas.

@leto-ux Hey do you happen to have Sentence termination characters set as Custom no newlines or any other variation that is not Custom

It tends to pull information that is outside the subtitle line. You can also read through the troubleshooting I and another user went though here #2278. Funnily enough if you are unable to change the sentence termination setting you can wait sometime this week for the new ASBplayer update to bring about word parsing/annotations. This will make each subtitle line their own block. Let me know if this works, if not we can try trouble shooting.

I have experimented with both, currently using Custom, no newlines.

The issue is that I tend to have to swap these settings around every couple of months as they seem to randomly break. Thanks to your reminder, going back to custom fixed ASB, but using custom on Mokuro Reader would randomly append the name of the originally OCR'd file to it. It is really inconsistent and hard to troubleshoot.

On a different note, mind referencing the ASBplayer issue/pull request?

@leto-ux which pull request are you referring to? If its the annotation then its the on the latest build on ASBplayer's github . You can wait for it to automatically update or build it yourself

I was referencing killergerbah/asbplayer@1a67333 and killergerbah/asbplayer@2f44850. Unfortunately I am stupid, didn't realize I was browsing my own fork of asb, no wonder I couldn't find it.
