There appears to be nowhere for the connector board to go?

Is the connector board supposed to be mounted on the bit that attaches to the back of the console?
I can't see any mounting for it.

There's no mount built into the part for now. I may integrate one based on
the original; I was considering just making it a separate part.

Ah, okay.
Having it be a separate part is a good idea. It's really awkward to get a screwdriver in to the current ones to put the board in place.
