drop-down list is empty after closing/opening Notepad++

Unfortunately the globs list is cleaned from the drop-down list when NPP is closed. Is there some way to solve it? or am I missing some hidden setting ?

There is no such functionality if you are talking about search history. I will add persistent history later. @esm2046gh do you want to keep persistent like last 10 search items?

Hi, I've tested the new dll. It's mainly retrieving the entered strings when closing/open NPP. However, if the string implies an operator such "|", then it retrieves the string in different rows. For instance: - Entered string: 154 | smart - String in the drop-down list after closing/opening NPP: 154 smart - Maybe It will be the same when another operator different than "|" is used This is not the case when empty space is used - Entered string: 154 smart - String in the drop-down list after closing/opening NPP (OK) 154 smart Best regards, E.

Yes I used "|" as a separtor to store values in config and split it based on it to save and load.

Hi Oleksii, regarding the usage of the pipe "|" as a separator, this symbol is also the OR operator when working with globs. This causes that strings such "type|test" cannot be retrieved in the original form and instead one gets type and test as different entries. So, what's the reason for splitting entries when the pipe symbol (OR) is found and not splitting when using empty space (AND). Shouldn't the behavoir be the same for both by storing and retrieving in the original form?. For NavigateTo.ini->searchHistory you could use for instance the semicolon ";" as entries separator Best regards and thanks for making this nice plugin available esm

@esm2046gh I changed separator to <|SEP|> , you may need to clean history in config: %AppData%\Notepad++\plugins\Config\NavigateTo.ini
