official support for Kubernetes > 1.21

I find the approach of Yugabyte very good and would like to use yugabyte productively. However, the prerequisite would be that it can be operated in a Kubernetes cluster > 1.21. 
I have tried it with the not yet merged changes. Installed also a working cluster. But changes to the YAML files are simply not applied.
