Random Image pulls from folders that have been removed from the library

I've recently removed a few folders from my library, and those folder no longer appear in either Walk or Normal/Fixed sections. I've run the search re-index multiple times since then.

However, when I run the Random Image tool, it still pulls images from the directories that were removed from the application.

I just updated to 1.5.1, and the issue remains.

How do I purge removed directories from the library so they no longer appear in Random Image?

Is there a more proper method of fully removing directories from the DB? I've just been deleting them from the main page. But I've also been adding the same folders to both the Walk and Normal sections. How does that affect the DB?

You can try renaming those deleted folders in the file explorer, so that these unwanted images definitely won't be indexed.

IIB hasn't been fully cleaned up mainly because a single image may belong to multiple search paths. Determining whether an image can actually be deleted is a very complex issue. There are other methods as well—you could also use random sorting in image search and then limit the search scope.

You can also remove the iib.db after closing IIB (equivalent to a reset), and then re-add the folders you need.

In this case the removed dirs were on a different drive entirely, so that might not be an issue here.

Yeah this is what I ended up doing last night as the data wasn't that big. I'm past the issue now, but figured I'd report the bug in any case. Thanks!
