Copilot auth never closes the popup window nor authenticates

On a fresh install of Neovim 0.11.3 with LazyVim and the LazyExtra for Copilot installed, doing "Copilot auth" pops up the window with the token. I paste that into github.com and authorize it which succeeds, but the popup window never closes in Neovim like it says it will. If I exit and restart Neovim I remain unauthenticated.

I am running in WSL on Windows.

I am surprised, a few months ago this was reported and the LSP maintainers had resolved the issue (iirc).
Do you have any logs generated?

I'm having the same issue. No LSP logs are being generated.

It was not working for me this morning but it now works.
I am thinking the issue might be server-side.
