[Git view]: New UI for viewing staged/unstaged diff

In VS Code, the git view completely separates staged vs unstaged changes. In Zed, if you stage some of one file, the staged diff chunks are visually mixed in with the unstaged diff chunks. Having them separated as shown in VS Code makes it much easier to view exactly what diff is staged vs not. The different color highlighting in Zed is a bit unintuitive and hard to follow.

The color highlighting for staged and unstaged changes is unintuitive. I've tried several themes, but the contrast in dark mode is so low that it’s hard to tell them apart.

Notes: "staged" is on top, and "unstaged" is below.

yep exactly. completely separating staged vs unstaged like how VS code does it is much more clear and intuitive. helps make it obvious what is about to be committed vs not. seems like the unified view that zed has should be what you opt into as a feature via the command palette for one-off cases where you want to see everything at once
