Enable height modification for the sidebar

When compact mode is enabled and the sidebar and toolbar (sidebar on the right) are hidden, every time I move the mouse to the upper right corner of the screen to close the browser, it accidentally activates the sidebar, making it impossible to cover the close button. Therefore, I would like to be able to adjust the height of the sidebar so that it doesn't interfere with the normal functioning of both.
