I agree. Folders should behave more like the now-native Firefox tab groups; you put them where you want them to be. |

With enough tabs already open folders are too far away in scroll to be meaningfully useful |

It would be acceptable if pinning new folders were the default but could be manually unpinned by the user. However, disallowing the user to unpin folders is completely incomprehensible to me. Why can't I decide myself which folders should be pinned and which unpinned? Besides the annoyance, the always-pinned behaviour of folders devaluates pinned tabs because the folders take away precious space from those tabs that you actually want pinned. The fact that so much “pinning space” is taken up by folders means that it is now impossible to revert the decision to make pinned tabs “scroll away”1 instead of remaining fixed (like Essentials). folders being pinned by default is something I was willing to live with but earlier today i realised that it also forces the tabs inside them to act as pinned ones which is a problem for me because ive set my pinned tabs to reset to pinned url after the browser is closed so anything i was doing in the tabs gets thrown away if i have to restart my computer or browser |

I understand why folders currently are "pinned", but as a workflow I would like to have folders be anywhere like the tab groups. |

i dont like how the only option for folders is to have them on top. i searched the settings and nothing appeared when i searched folder.
can you make so folders can appear where tabs are, not only on top, or make user choose where they want them?
