webextension API for (tab)folders (maybe also workspaces)?

Good Day Everyone.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this or if i should rather have opend a feature request, but here goes anyways.

I recently got a request to modify one of my firefox extensions to work with Zen's (tab)folders issue link

Since (tab)folders are not part the standard webextension API i just wanted to ask if there are any plans to extend zen's webextension API to allow managing (tab)folders in the future.

Thanks in advance for any insight and feedback on this.
