Hi @lemon07r! I'm Dosu and I’m helping the desktop team. There isn't a built-in way to add a search/URL bar to the title bar in single toolbar mode. The title bar is mainly for window controls and dragging the window, and it stays mostly empty by design. The URL bar in single toolbar mode is intentionally placed on the sidebar, and there aren't customization options to move it to the title bar or add elements there on hover. Some users have tried mods like "no gaps" to hide or remove the top bar, but these don't add a search/URL bar and are more about reclaiming screen space. Custom CSS can tweak the bar's appearance, but there's no documented method to add a search/URL bar to it. This feature has been requested by others and remains an open issue, with no official support or planned implementation at this time [source 1] [source 2] [source 3]. To reply, just mention @dosu. How did I do? Good | Irrelevant | Incorrect | Verbose | Hallucination | Report 🐛 | Other |

The title bar (is it a title bar? It's kinda blank for the moment) currently serves no function when hovered over, other than for popping up to provide the minimize, maximize, close buttons in the top right. It's just a completely big empty space at the moment. Multiple toolbars layout solves this issue, but it takes up screen real estate because it doesnt autohide and only popup in hover (like I would like it to), and simply doesnt look as good. I would personally like single toolbar mode to have an option to add stuff to that empty bar on hover. Currently I keep accidentally mousing over it to try and search for stuff, so thats the functionality I would like added. Is there a way to do this already?
