Right now there is no way to reassign the Ctrl+Tab shortcut from the Ctrl+Tab cycles through tabs in recently used order setting.
I'm currently using an Ubuntu PC with an Apple Keyboard and command/control switched (this way I can use the same keyboard shortcuts as on my MacBook). This also means that Ctrl+Tab is already occupied by the Gnome application switcher.
Remapping Ctrl+Tab to another shortcut would still allow me to use this feature.
I know that my setup is a bit cursed but maybe someone has the same problem 😅
