Split View Shortcut Context for Glance

The goal is to be able to press the Split View Shortcut while focused on a Glance tab and split the Glance tab with its "parent". This makes it easier to commit to a browsing session off the Glance. The button exists, so maybe there is a way to override the Split View shortcut's call with the Glance's when it is focused.

As it stands, it can be done view the GUI but the convenience of not needing to ever raise your hand off the keyboard is unbeatable.

There isn't currently a keyboard shortcut to split a Glance tab with its parent—only the Escape key is handled for Glance, and the split action is available via a GUI button. Community discussions show strong interest in adding customizable shortcuts for Glance expansion and split mode, but no implementation or context-sensitive override for the Split View Shortcut exists yet. The split view shortcuts are defined in the keyboard shortcuts config and trigger functions like gZenViewSplitter.toggleShortcut, but there's no mechanism for them to detect Glance focus or override behavior based on it at this time. For now, this feature would require changes to how shortcuts are handled so they can check if a Glance tab is focused before executing their action.
