Grouping Spaces / Space Organisation

Hello,

I've been getting used to using spaces after the 1.18 changes and I have kind of got to a point where the number of spaces is becoming unwieldy.

Spaces are currently small icons in a single row list which causes an issue for me that when I add a new space I need to increase the size of the sidebar to continue to have easy access to all the spaces. (Tangent: is there a way to synchronise the width of the sidebar between all windows?)

I did some googling and searching in this github but couldn't figure out if there are tools to group the spaces into different sets, e.g. "space folders" where you can group multiple spaces with similar / related purposes into a modal pop-up, or some other UI.

A related question is if you can increase the amount of rows that the spaces use to have more than 1? I wouldn't mind if I had several rows of the emoji space icons on the bottom. Let me know if I've missed something obvious!

Why not just use folders?

Each of these spaces already has folders within it, though some of them are assorted in a way where there are no good folder groupings for the tabs. There are a significant amount of tabs in each also, so combining the spaces would also complicate those folders. Additionally from a UX perspective, it is currently a lot easier to categorise tabs by space (right click > move tab [to space]) vs dragging tab in the sidebar into a folder (especially if there are enough tabs that it now needs to scroll).

I'm probably not using the features in an expected way; prior to 1.18 I was organising tabs by-window so spaces are new to me & I've never used Arc, so I'm not against suggestions. I'll make sure to reply again when I have a free moment to share examples of what I've currently got when I have time, which will hopefully help.

Sorry for not getting around to this, I've been busy, I promise to get around to providing a proper example when I can. However I was just messing around with the browsers CSS and I think outside of having some way to group spaces, by having a greater form of organisation, e.g. space folders, or space sets (by this i mean switchable pages of spaces), by applying flex-wrap: wrap to #zen-workspaces-button and disabling the &[icons-overflow] styling. I'll experiment Saturday along with providing that example.
