The issue you're experiencing with the '101 Switching Protocols' status and its persistence in Firefox, especially when using Vite in development mode, might be related to the security settings and how WebSocket connections are handled.
If these steps don't resolve the issue, you might want to investigate further into any custom middleware or server configurations that could be interfering with protocol switching or WebSocket connections. I am a web developer, and when working in dev mode using Vite, I sometimes encounter a ‘101 Switching Protocols’ status, causing the site to go down. After clearing storage, cache, and restarting, it starts working again, but the problem reappears after a while. Additionally, enabling HTTPS-Only Mode the problem persists permanently. Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, how did you fix it? Thanks!”
