Have new "compact mode" item for sidebar

For people who much prefer compact mode rather than "Expand sidebar." this is a much needed feature.
I still do not understand why enabling compact mode would need a right-click, going to the compact mode option, and enabling (or disabling) compact mode.

Yes, Totally agree. I like what Arc, ChatGPT does with the sidebar toggle icon 😉

There's also a keyboard shortcut for enabling/disabling compact mode.

Windows: Ctrl + Alt + C
MacOS: Cmd + Opt + C

These are the defaults and you can change them in settings.

I know the shortcut, but for newbies the icon will be more intuitive
