Build Error on MAC OS

After building the project, when I try to start it on macOS, I get an error message.

 0:00.36 E ERROR: Binary expected at /Users/utopiaeh/Developer/projects/desktop/engine/obj-aarch64-apple-darwin/dist/Nightly.app/Contents/MacOS/zen does not exist.
 0:00.36 It looks like your program isn't built. You can run |./mach build| to build it.

Was your build successful? Try building again and search for any error.

Yes, it was successful, rebuild didn't help

try this cd engine && git status
if this gives an error then do this git add . && git commit -m "Firefox"
after that run this cd .. && pnpm build && cd engine && python mach run --noprofile

Can you please share the script/steps that you used to build?
I am on macos, and I was able to create this script following the instructions to build - but, it only runs the browser in a "hot-reload" mode, whereas I am looking for the steps to create a dmg or an app file that I can run from the /Applications directory. Were you able to progress to the stage of creating the dmg/app file?

is there a script that you wrote for this? As a techie, I prefer to not read documentation every time I have to build something. So, I create an executable script for helping myself with that repetitive chore.
The documentation that you referenced above still does not create the dmg file.
I am looking specifically for the steps for that packaged installable file (albeit unsigned).

Nope, I didn’t use any script. However, I can’t figure out how to run the project in dev mode. Have you managed to run the project?

I used the above script (approx 2 weeks ago) and was able to run it in dev mode.
Since then, I haven't tried.

So, I don’t know why, but I still can’t build it. I keep getting this error every time.

With the latest code as of right now, I am able to build in developer mode. (Still looking to build the app/dmg installer file)
