A possible update timeline based on a recent post by the Chef

1. Bug Fixes
2. Quality of Life Patches

• UI Update (1.9b?)
  This update sounds like a clean-up of the browser focusing on UI. Expect things like:

1. Cleaner animations
2. Cleaner homepage (not sure if this is for new tab or website, but it might look something like this)
3. An overall cleaner and more cohesive UI

• In-tab Update (1.11b?)
  This update seems to be focusing on how the functionality of tab actions work like glance, splitview, and the Zen Sidebar. It also seems to contain a handful of features users have been asking for, here is the list:

1. Drag to Split
2. Grouping Split Views (hopefully like it is displayed in this image, with the active split being at the bottom, and other splits looking similar to tab groups.)
3. Better Glance Animations
4. Open Glance In Split
5. Zen Sidebar updates
   • Zoom Support
   • Extension Support
   • Right Side Support
6. Zen Rices!

• Management Update (1.13b?)
  This will increase productivity and workflow of the sidebar and workspaces, this will include things such as:

1. Better Workspace Animations (switching workspaces)
2. Tab Folders/Groups!
3. Better Workspace Management (speculation, but hopefully a little Arc alt, and a Air Traffic Control alt.)
4. A Better Workspace Creation Process
5. Reworked Gradient Generator to Ensure a beautiful gradient Every Time (maybe using Color Theory)

The chef also discusses rolling out new icons, fonts, spacing, etc., while having occasional bug fixes. These would presumably be the smaller releases with the extra. in them (like 1.7.1b and 1.7.2b) to ensure the browser stays up to date between major releases. He also said that he got his Mac recently (yay! mac updates that don't effect me...) so any Mac users can expect a more native experience similar to Arc.

Update Timeline

Chef says that he is exited for the next couple months, so I am assuming that these three major releases will be spread across that time span, with other minor updates in between

In other news, 135 should be rolled out for twilight today so tab groups will be on by default, if you need a working solution until the workspace update, you can try this (shameless plug). Remember none of this is confirmed and is subject to change. Hope you enjoyed this read.
