Split Screen Confusion

it is nearly impossible to activate split view w/o a shortcut and selecting tabs. give us a shortcut or button to activate split mode then choose the tab we want to split with

when in split mode show both tabs on the same tab bar so I know what I am opening back to when I switch tabs... can get confusing

give us more visible settings to close out of split views or switch them or close the tabs rather than just in the sidebar

I'm having a similar issue. When I split view whichever tab I'm in, It automatically picks any of the tabs in "Essential Tabs" instead of prompting which tab I want to split the screen with.

yeah we need a shortcut to cycle through the tabs INSIDE the split view, so we can select the left split tab and cycle through our opened tabs to select which one to have in the split view
