Keyboard shortcut for closing a single window?

How do I close only one Zen window if I have two of them open side-by-side? Cmd+w does not work since it does not seem to close the window after closing the last tab anymore. Cmd+q does not work since it also closes the other window and quits Zen entirely.

So is there a way to close only one window (other than clicking the red circle in the window border)?

Cmd+Shift+W on mac (which is actually the standard for any mac application works. It will close the current window that has focus while the rest of the windows for the same app remain in play.

Ah, that makes sense, thank you.

I knew the shortcut but in my mind it was always "close all tabs" instead of "close window", so I didn't make that connection 😅
