possible DRM workaround?

I know that in chromium, there's supposedly a workaround that uses binaries from google chrome to allow playing DRM protected content.
Since zen is based on firefox, is it possible to just whatever they use directly, without bothering with a WideVine license?

@mr-cheffy is there a tracking issue or discussion item we can use for track for updates on Widevine DRM licensing? I came across a random comment that mentioned you were in touch with POCs from Widevine for getting a license either for free or small fee assigned.
