Microphone not working

Hello there,

Fist and foremost, let me lay down the technical details first:

1. system - mac os x (ARM m1)
2. zen browser version - 1.7.6b (Firefox 135.0) (aarch64)

My microphone is not being recognized on any website. I have permissions given onto system privacy for both webcam and microphone, but had no success.

I went down to, as a matter of test, disable protection (shield) on meet, but could not get it working as well.

Anything else I'm missing? I've already allowed it, it allows me to access it on goog for eg, but it does not detect any sound coming from it.

I'm experiencing the same problem on a fresh installation of Arch. The microphone works flawlessly in Firefox, Librewolf, and Brave, but not in Zen.

The microphone is detected by Zen just fine, and Zen correctly asks for permission when a page wants to use the microphone. The correct microphone name is used too. But after granting permission, no audio is sent to the page. For example: the line doesn't move at all on https://onlinemictest.com. I tried giving pages permanent permissions, but that didn't work either.
