An option to hide window control buttons in some modes?

Currently window control buttons (close, minimize, etc), take a lot of space in the top of the sidebar, making it impossible to have a relatively compact right side sidebar on Windows.

Custom CSS allows to hide these buttons, when not in compact mode.

  display: none !important;
}

Would be nice to have this as a setting (or a mod). By the way, is it possible for Zen to develop a custom set of control buttons specifically for Windows? Many apps redesign the default ones to be smaller and this may solve the layout problem.
