I am a desktop app dev and kind of experienced web dev, and I am ready to learn more about the browsers in general and provide to the FOSS, however I am not developing in C/C++ and I am used to some Rust, if anything, I am in need for guidance (can't handle it all by my own) |

As it stands out, and after the last week's drama, I lost faith in the FireFox team, especially after the long history of unfullfilled promises, and the far gone parity with major browser features, and we, as a community, being shadowed out of the development scene for so long.
A lot of features in many firefox forks were halted by their devs due to them seeing the work as duplicate work because the firefox team said they'd do it themselves, and here we are waiting.
The feature I am asking for a work/rework is the manifest v3 and the compatibility with the google specs, this would facilitate the extensions development for many, as I am sick of not having some amazing features provided by extensions only available to chromium, and all of that because "why write another code base for a 3% of the market, and that 3% have even worse DX)
As it stands out, we are in a destructive endless feedback loop: Worse extensions support -> More shift towards chromium -> Even less market share -> Even worse extension support
