Firefox's Always open in container feature missing? #6136
-
I'm trying Zen Browser but one feature I can't find is always open a URL in a certain container. For example, if I don't trust a service, let's say Trello, then I set up a container for trello urls. I want it so that any time I visit a trello URL it opens in the trello container. This is essential for things like being able to click emailed links and have them open in a correct way (since the container session will be logged in). I have discovered that I can set a default container for a Workspace, but I use Workspaces per client, and for each client I may have a mix of different containers. Firefox has this feature by right-clicking the icon for the container: But Zen's container icon either has no context menu (in 2 toolbar mode) or changes to a different icon on hover (1 toolbar mode). Is this a planned feature? Perhaps it exists already? Thanks. |

That option appears to be from an extension rather than the basic container support built into Firefox? Installing that extension seems to work in Zen as well. |

Yeah, @rhoot you're right! That's so confusing - I think that ext did containers before ffox core did, and now it's unclear what it adds, but this feature is one of the things added I guess. Perhaps it will work on Zen, I'll try.
...[EDIT] yes, it works in Zen too. Closing.
