You can't separate tabs in split view?! - Add in the option when right-clicking please.

And when I right-click... I can't separate them again??

Out of all of the options, none of them allow you to separate them.

then choose:

There is also a two button popup control that appears when hovering (at least for the Windows version) that lets you rearrange or separate the tabs.

Had the same issue with OP, could never find out how to un-split tab. The first natural location that I try to find how to unsplit is to right click on the tab itself. I have never noticed the small icon in the address bar.
