Use cmd+n to cycle between normal tabs and only use mouse for essentials

Is it possible to use cmd+n to cycle between normal tabs instead of opening the essential tabs. I want to use essential tabs but I use cmd+n to cycle between my tabs and having to click cmd+6/7/8/9 is kind of annoying because of essential tabs.
