Essentials+ section( small icons ) that open in a half screen glance.

Something like what operaGx does or discord, Instagram, messenger etc.
Either be able to specify what essentials to open in a glance or a new row below the essentials with small icons that then open in glance covering half page which can either be added to split or closes when clicked elsewhere. I think this would be a very efficient way to have tabs pop up rather than changing tabs each time.
