Add the ability to scroll over workspace indicator to change workspace.

There should be the ability to scroll while hovering over the workspace indicator (shown in image below) and switch workspaces that way.

Yes, but only for a touchpad. What if you could move your mouse over the workspace indicator and scroll to switch workspaces also.

For what it's worth, if you have extra mouse buttons for forward/backward navigation, you can use them to switch workspaces by using them while hovering over the sidebar. That said, being able to scroll the workspace indicator with the mouse wheel would feel way smoother.

Personally I would preffer to use scroll only, but having a toggle to use shift+scroll would be nice too.

Using the mouse wheel when it's over the current workspace name but also over the workspace icons to switch to the previous or next workspace would increase the surface area of zones for performing the action (less mouse travel required).

This would provide a very convenient and direct way to change workspaces using the mouse.

Advantages over current methods of changing workspaces:

• No keyboard required compared to CTRL+wheel or keyboard shortcuts
• Larger action surface compared to clicking on the specific button for the desired workspace. Easier to target with the mouse and faster (less travel distance).
• Single wheel scroll compared to two mouse clicks with the method of clicking on the current workspace name and then clicking on the desired workspace in the displayed list

In short, I'm interested in the switch previous/next workspace action with the wheel alone and I propose being able to use this new action on the workspace icons area as well.

@Etienne-TR yeah, no problem. I was working on adding it when I found an issue with scrolling the workspace indicator (considering some odd behavior) but I'll see if I can get it done soon.

@Etienne-TR I just noticed, if you hover the sidebar and use Ctrl+Scroll, you can scroll workspaces. I have got scrolling without Ctrl working on workspace icons though so I'll share the script when I get a chance.
