Really not a fan of url bar on the left above the tabs

Hi,

Thank you for creating this awesome browser. In the last update though I am really not a fan of url bar above the tabs for the following reasons:

• It forces all the extensions to be under the extension icon, which makes "pin to toolbar" useless. Some extension provide
  visual feedback ex: ublock now is always hidden. Dark reader, to know if it's active or not on the current website, overwriting the current website dark theme. Some extensions like "Emoji" which is handy to be pinned too for OSes that don't provide easy access.
• I think dark patterns can emerge from only showing the domain name in such a small space. Some of us, developers also check URL often but now it's not possible since it's only the domain. I have to go to the URL bar to see it.
• The bookmark toolbar is always hidden now, not so much for quick access.

It's such a regression in UX that makes me consider stop using this browser.

For you, the settings specifically have a choice of the classic URL string. They don't force it on you, they give you a choice, and that's fine.
