File not found

Hello,
I'm not sure this is a problem of zen, it might be due to the installation from flathub. Zen is not able to access file from system except /home//Downloads on linux. I cannot open my pdf, which is a pain. Do you know how to resolve that ?

I'm on NixOS and installed zen via flathub

Same, installed on fedora from flathub, can only access Downloads + .local .mozilla .var .zen

Same problem with Fedora 42 and flathub.
I can open files by going into the explorer (dolphin) -> right click file > open with -> zen browser
But after restarting the browser the files aren't found. The url of the opened files is something like file:///run/user/1000/doc/4e00de0b/file.pdf, so not the real file path.

A cursory google search pointed at permission problems with flathub, so I tried using flatseal to see if I could fix them, and by turning on the "All user files" option, it was fixed!.. with the caveat that all settings were back to factory, oh well.

Now off to figure out how to export and import all the settings.
