How to disable the translation prompt on every new page?

Hi,

Every time I open a new web page, the browser keeps prompting me with a message asking whether I want to translate the page. This repeated translation pop-up is quite disruptive to the user experience. Could you please let me know where I can disable this feature so it doesn’t show up every time?

There isn't a dedicated user-facing setting in Zen Browser to disable the translation prompt. The only translation-related preference available is browser.translations.newSettingsUI.enable, which controls the visibility of the translations settings pane, not the prompt itself. The translation prompt logic appears to be inherited from upstream and isn't directly configurable in Zen-specific settings reference.

As a workaround, you can try opening about:config in your browser, searching for translation-related preferences (such as browser.translations.*), and toggling them to false to see if this suppresses the prompt. While this isn't officially documented, similar approaches have resolved persistent pop-up issues for other features in Zen Browser reference.

If you don't see a relevant preference or the prompt persists, it may not be possible to disable it through current Zen Browser settings.
