Local PDF links/locations

Local PDFs can be opened and might be bookmarked for opening later. But these links don't seem to work(on Linux) when the browser is closed and reopened after a while.

Depending on your privacy settings (browser and system alike), the PDF may be "lost" because it was copied into your browser's temp cache directory in order to open it within your browser itself. If I recall, MS Edge updated their own browser only a few months ago allowing Edge to open local files locally (rather than downloading a copy from your local system into the browser's temp directory prior to opening).

Since Zen is forked from Firefox, the underlying behaviors are bound to how Firefox handles these conditions/circumstances. And if it works great on Firefox, then maybe there are additional file handler settings which Zen doesn't do... or additional functionalities that are not included in the Zen build.
