Animation duration control #9257

Hi @RainyGrass! I'm Dosu and I’m helping the desktop team. It's not currently possible to customize the animation duration in Zen Browser. Animation timings for panels and UI elements are hardcoded in CSS (for example, 0.4s, 0.35s, 0.3s) and there are no user-facing settings, configuration options, or documented workarounds to adjust them. Previous requests for this feature remain unresolved, and adding user control would require foundational changes like using CSS variables and exposing new settings in the UI or config. Some animations (like fullscreen transitions) can be disabled via manual config changes, but this doesn't allow you to control their speed—only to turn them on or off reference reference. To reply, just mention @dosu. How did I do? Good | Irrelevant | Incorrect | Verbose | Hallucination | Report 🐛 | Other |

The browser animation is of course very beautiful, but it is sometimes too slow. Is it possible to customize the animation duration? That would be perfect. I found similar issues have been raised, but none of them have been resolved yet. https://github.com/zen-browser/desktop/discussions/830#discussion-7096266
