Download animation icon for compact should be a button to open the download tray.

We were recently provided with a fantastic little animation to let us know when our download has started. When in compact mode (where I live) this displays a little house (?) icon which the animation moves to. This is great but with little downloads my first instinct is to click this icon to open the downloads tray so I can open my newly downloaded file. Unfortunately this doesn't do anything and I then have to open my side bar and click downloads.

It would be great if this little icon could hang around just a second longer and have the function to open the side bar and downloads tray on click as this would make for a smoother experience downloading things in compact mode.
