video calling support in zen

I want to use zen as Primary browser.. but i realized it does not support video calling feature in for eg .. facebook messanger and so ..? There are basic functionalities of browser .. why haven't they been added yet ?

Hi, I've been using Zen since early alpha and have always been able to take web-based calls via Zoom, Google Meet, and Jitsi. Nothing has ever seemed unsupported. What exact issue are you running into? If you can be a little more specific, we can try to fix it!

I tried video call in Facebook messenger and it says "Audio call not supported " "Video call not supported " .. Is this problem on my side .? if so how can I fix it ?

I'm not sure why that would be the case. My guess would be Facebook is deliberately blocking Zen for some reason. It might be worth trying a user agent switcher extension like Chameleon to make Facebook think you're on a Chromium-based browser, but that would be a hack.

I tried it, its no use. Discord and other video and audio platform works as usual too .. I'm totally lost now. Is it because of linux destro or just unique to my setup only.? Are you able to use the functionality in hyprland ?

It seemed firefox itself doesn' t support calling functionality in facebook messenger too. I tried there just to be sure. I think its due to their some end to end encryption stuffs and firefox still doesn't support it. !! Can i Post it as feature request or issue in zen-browser community or just leave it .? It might help other people who will run into this problem . wdu think

i can't video call on Win11 either.
