Better suport for touchscreens

I have noticed Zen does not get along quite well with touchscreens, such as the ones from convertible laptops or 2 in 1s. Without the mouse, you cannot open the tabs bar while in compact mode, which prevents from doing the most basic actions.
I propose that the browser implements some features in order to better support users who, sometimes, interact only with the screen, without keyboard or mouse.

The browser with the best touch support on Windows that I’ve tried is Microsoft Edge. It’s a shame that touchscreens are still hard to use due to limited software support. Hopefully, more browsers will improve their touch input experience. I’d also like to use compact mode to make better use of the screen real estate with my touchscreen.
