I second this, as a self-proclaimed tab hoarder, I often have many threads of research or resources in any given workspace. These tabs are more often than not transient enough that making them pinned doesn't make sense or fit with the ergonomics. |

For example, if I have a news site pinned in a "News" folder, I will browse the front page and middle click any articles I want to read to open those in new tabs. These should not open as pinned tabs in the "News" folder. They should not open as pinned tabs at all.
If I were just reading one article, I would alt+click to open a quick temporary window to read it. But often, if I'm doing research, comparing products, or browsing content, I want to open several temporary tabs without leaving the landing page. But these tabs do not need to stick around once I'm done with them.
