Special rewards.

Hi I was looking at various things in my account file and I stumbled upon this. As I understand this section specifies the rewards of preorder or some others.... Those generally known as special rewards. Then it would not be possible to put another addition in nom nom to be able to add the special rewards? Which as I understand are the ships and the preorder multitools (those of xbox, playstation, steam and switch) also in special rewards there is the starborn phoenix and finally the xo suit (the helmet with the x of xbox). From the preorder rewards I have found the reference of the switch rewards and the starborn phoenix:

"SW_PREORDER" - Switch preorder ship
"SW_PREORDER2" -Switch preorder multitool
"TGA_SHIP1" - Starborn phoenix

As far as I understand, these awards are somehow additionally checked by the server, since I once tried to open them through NMS Save Editor and while the game is offline they are there, but as soon as you turn on the Internet they are deleted

Maybe I'm wrong and NomNom developers will find a way to activate these bonuses.

the process, as i understand it, is that you

1. add them in the editor in the "Account Data" section only,
2. run NMS without internet access,
3. go to the Anomaly,
4. claim the rewards from the Quicksilver Terminal,
5. save your game (maybe wait for the automatic save and then also do a manual one so you have both files in the same state),
6. and exit NMS...

you should then be ok to run NMS with internet access... i might make a backup of the account data and save files before running NMS again... the rewards should remain in your save and, i believe, the account data (on the server?) will properly represent access to those rewards as well... this process is the same when using any save editor that allows adding these types of special(?) rewards...

Thanks for the answers, but I'm confused about how to add them to the game. Should I add the special rewards as well as the expedition rewards (i.e. with the id in quotation marks and commas)? Or do they behave differently and have to be added in a different way? Also what I'm trying to say is that in nom nom (the GUI part) it would be great if in the accountdata part there was a button to add or remove these rewards easily. By the way, does anyone know the id of the xo suit since I am unable to find it?

Yes, I did put it without internet (expedition rewards method) and they do not appear. I wonder if it's because of the platform I use since I play on xbox (microsoft store)

@BSOD404 NomNom does not have a section for these, unlike NMSSE (goatfungus), but even then it would not work, as it never functioned correctly there.
You would have to add them to the account, but on both accountdata save, and in the GCUSERSETTINGSDATA file.
That is how it works on Steam anyway.

As you can see, I have them showing.

In the Account JSON, there are no IDs listed under UnlockedPlatformRewards

They are listed in UnlockedSpecials

In the GCUSERSETTINGSDATA file they appear in both those locations

Do make note of the slightly different IDs for these, depending on the section they are in!

I do not have to cut the internet to have them appear by the way. That is only happening with Twitch rewards

Oh and I forgot, the SPEC_XOHELMET, which goes into the UnlockedSpecials section for the Account JSON

It will be available in the Appearance Modifier (head/helmet)

@Devilin-Pixy As I understand it, I need to insert the ID from Unlocked Specials into Unlocked Platform Rewards in both the account JSON and GCUSERSETTINGSDATA?

@Crow-BY I would just make sure to have both the Account JSON and the GCUSERSETTINGSDATA have the IDs for the Nintendo Ship/Multi-tool and Starborn Phoenix in both sections, just make sure they are named properly accordingly. Also be aware that formatting is slightly different.

• TGA_SHIP1

It will most likely correct things with the files when it comes to indexing/order and it may end up empty for the platform rewards in the account data json

@Devilin-Pixy Well, in my UnlockedSpecials (both in my account data and in the file) there are all 4 (the ship and the Nintendo multitool, the Phoenix and the XBOX helmet), but in UnlockedPlatformRewards in my account data there is nothing, and in the file there is only the Phoenix.

In the end I managed to add the XO suit in all my games by adding the id in unlocked specials in the last line (then the game changed it to another line a little higher). But the tga ship and nintendo's rewards elude me. As I understand it, I have to add them to the two sections? But it turns out that in unlocked platform rewards there is absolutely nothing like crow-by. I also understand that the unlockedplatformrewards is the one that is empty, because if it is not that one then I cannot find any other. A program that automates this would be very nice. I wonder if it won't work because on Xbox you can't add these special rewards.

If the problem was the platform, that would explain what happens to Crow-by (if he plays on xbox, of course).
By the way, someone has more id's of other rewards since since we start modifying files why not add them all.

@BSOD404 I added Phoenix as a DLC on Steam and it's available to me, but I can't permanently unlock the other rewards.

Well, how does the phoenix appear to you since it is giving me a lot of difficulties

@BSOD404 Except for its color, it is no different from the regular Starborn issued for the expedition.
