How to unlock the bootloader for a t-mobile google pixel? #226

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but this is the only place I know of where I could ask a question like this here. How do you unlock the bootloader for a t-mobile google pixel? I am asking this because I really need help on how to do this. I tried to research it but I am left with more questions than answers in regards to t-mobile. Some say that it is possible to unlock the bootloader by getting it carrier unlocked, some say that it is impossible to unlock the bootloader. Heck, I even tried to contact t-mobile themselves about this and they said that unlocking the carrier does not guarantee that the bootloader will be unlocked, which implies that it may or may not get unlocked if I get the carrier unlocked. The bootloader unlock wall of shame implies that you can get the bootloader unlocked by t mobile, but it does not tell you how. So honestly, I am completely lost right now, and I am really frustrated right now. Is the only way I can solve my issue by getting my phone returned and getting a new one? Because I straight up don't know what to do. |

Q1. Did you finance the phone through T-Mobile? |

t-mobile is known to be lenient when it comes unlocking. On your phone you should have at least one t-mobile app. There you should be able to request permanent unlock. This should trigger a restart, which in turn should allow for OEM permission from developer options
