Currently, I am working on an at_client application which allows me to run at commands over an uart bridge (st mcu)
my question is when I use the shell apis, I have to add my custom command prefix with at commands. Is it possible to send directly at commands and process them with shell APIs? without any prefix, i.e.: at+cfun? or would the console getline/getchar be better for this?

Hi,
Currently, I am working on an at_client application which allows me to run at commands over an uart bridge (st mcu)
my question is when I use the shell apis, I have to add my custom command prefix with at commands. Is it possible to send directly at commands and process them with shell APIs? without any prefix, i.e.: at+cfun? or would the console getline/getchar be better for this?
for example: if I use shell Api:
to send an at command to the modem I have to send at commands with
net cmd
prefix.net cmd at+cfun?
but I dont want to add net cmd and want to send only at+cfun? over serial terminal.
