Question about TS node whose parent is TS node and its parent's parent is SQ node

I have a question here, what will happen if a TS node A whose parent is a TS node B and its parent's parent is a SQ node C? I find that the io_input of A will only consider B and does not contain any information from C. Is it reasonable?
