It seems that the API is down: https://crimeflare.zidansec.com/ meaning the tool is unable to obtain information about your target.

Currently it responds with an Error 1016 (Origin DNS Error): You've requested a page on a website (crimeflare.zidansec.com) that is on the Cloudflare network. Cloudflare is currently unable to resolve your requested domain (crimeflare.zidansec.com).

Unfortunately I believe there's nothing to do until Zidan fixes his api.

Is it just the client that is open source or is the server open source as well? Could I set up my own API host?

When I started Crimeflare, it shows nothing after scan too. Progress line only and nothing more.
