Description
Hi team,
First off, thanks for creating Pomatez! It's a fantastic Pomodoro timer that's simple, elegant, and very helpful for focusing.
I'd like to propose a new feature that I believe would significantly enhance its utility: a dedicated dashboard or statistics tab for tracking work and break times.
Currently, Pomatez effectively manages Pomodoro sessions and breaks. However, there isn't a clear way for users to see:
- How much total work time they've accumulated over a day, week, or month.
- How much total break time they've taken.
- The ratio of work to break time.
- Perhaps even a simple graph showing productive vs. break periods.
Why this feature would be valuable:
Self-awareness: Users could gain better insights into their productivity patterns and identify peak working times or periods when they might need more focused effort.
Motivation: Seeing accumulated work time can be a great motivator.
Optimization: It would help users optimize their Pomodoro cycles and ensure they're taking adequate breaks without overdoing it.
Complementary to existing features: It naturally extends the core functionality of a Pomodoro timer by providing retrospective data.
Possible Implementations (just ideas):
A new tab in the application labeled "Statistics," "Dashboard," or "History."
A simple chart or numerical summary showing daily/weekly/monthly work and break hours.
Ability to export basic data (optional).
I believe this addition would make Pomatez an even more powerful tool for time management and productivity.
Thanks for considering this request!
Best regards,
