Intersection between 2 meshes: leave one mesh intact

Hi, I'm new to this library and I'm looking for a mesh library that allows some kind of property or configuration in the mesh, for it to not be modified and leave it intact when the boolean operation (intersection) is made.

Is this possible with this library?

Unfortunately I don't understand your question. The unmodified meshes are your inputs.

is this library apt for volumetric meshes or only for surface meshes?

Only surface meshes.
