Accessibility: extra elements with talkback

I was looking through the app preferences and noticed that the map units box and the map time filter box do this.

The unit thing itself, such as miles, feet, kilometers, meters, etc., is red first, and then the next swipe to the right brings it to the radio button in order to check that thing instead of them being altogether as one element.

Currently, you can only select the item when it's on the radio button itself, not when it says, for example, 6 hours or miles feet.
