Description
Zood is a beautiful app. I realize this request is a stretch. But this world needs an alternative to Life360 and I feel like Zood is very close to that. Not only does Life360 do live location sharing, but it also tracks when someone enters/exits a geofenced area. The geofencing capability was used by folks for home automation to turn on/off lights and other automations (until Life360 took away the capability). This also required allowing for integrations from the home automation platform to read who is in/out of a geofenced area.
So this request is to:
- Add geofences and notifications when folks enter/exit the geofence
- Allow integrations from other platforms (not just the phone apps) such as Hubitat (a home automation platform)
And given that this project is already security conscious, I would request allowing folks to self host it. I saw the
