Instant crash of current snap version 5.12.3 with Wayland #1484

Describe the bug
Once started, the Zulip snap client on ubuntu (further details below) crashes instantly due to a segmentation fault.
To Reproduce
Upgrade the snap from the previous version to the latest version (v5.12.3) and following try to start it.
Reinstalling did not help:
user@ubuntu-5491:~$ sudo snap remove zulip
zulip removed (snap data snapshot saved)
user@ubuntu-5491:~$ sudo snap install zulip
zulip 5.12.3 desde Zulip (zulipchat) installed
user@ubuntu-5491:~$ zulip

Violación de segmento (`core' generado)Manually setting the graphics to X11 with zulip --ozone-platform=x11 helped. On a first look, the snap connections seem to be good.
Expected behavior
The client should start without additionall command line arguments.

Zulip 5.12.3 upgraded from Snap on a Ubuntu 25.10 machine (no fresh install, was already installed, missing time...). Intel CPU & integrated GPU, GNOME on Wayland.
