Is there a way to reverse a switch/light state

Hi I have a specific case where I need a switch to show On when in reality it is Off, i have searched but could not find anything.

the only thing I did found is in the switch configuration in Zwave-JS-UI the option 'Inverted Orientation' wich does not reverse the switch state

Hi @goldriver2 , how are you using Z-UI? Are you interacting with it using home assistant integration or MQTT?

If MQTT you can use parse send function assigned to a valueID, you can find this on Settings > General > Devices values configuration

Unfortunatly no, I am using HA

And that would not work since it looks like using the parse send fonction applies the change to all devices of same type and I only want this on one of the 12 switch of this type in my system.

Any other suggestion ?

Unfortunately nope but usually switches also have a configuration parameter to invert the state of the switch like Mode: normally open/ normally close
